S+B UK have supplied the furniture for the brand new paper mill on the banks of the manchester ship canal. The state of the art mill used state of the art S+B furniture to contribute to the first container board paper mill to be built in the UK for decades.

The new paper mill will help to divert the export of some 450,000 tonnes a year of used paper by recycling it within the UK, reducing carbon emissions by 84,000 tonnes per year, the equivalent of taking 28,000 cars off the road each year.

S+B is proud to be a part of such a successful project and proud to be contributing to the reduction of the Carbon footprint, and the growth of our Economy.

Lend Lease award S+B UK fitted furniture contracts for George Dixon School as part of the ongoing Birmingham BSF programme.

S+B have been awarded the second phase of a two part refurbishment project being carried out by Burgate School. After the school was so impressed with quality of the and the commitment S+B showed to the job, they were keen to secure a further deal. The second phase is worth £50k and here’s what the headteacher at Burgate School had to say:
