King’s College International School Bangkok

King’s College International School Bangkok is a King’s College School Wimbledon International School and opened its gates in August 2020.

Situated in the prestigious Ratchada–Rama 3 area of Bangkok, the school strives to be one of the best schools in Asia.

S+B UK, in collaboration with Charleston Scientific, our agent in Thailand, designed, manufactured and installed 4 Science Laboratories and one Preparation Room in their new world-class, purpose-built campus.

Practicality and aesthetic appeal were the leading factors in choosing the furniture systems and the School opted for Saturn and Mercury Workstations Combo with integrated sinks and service consoles, as well as Service Towers and Tables System.

Additional perimeter working spaces and storage were installed in the labs while the science prep was fitted with a bespoke SpaceSaver Working Wall.

Our re-circulatory Mobiline Fume Cupboard with 360-degree view and activated carbon filter was also provided.

Client Testimonial

“As a physicist and a headmaster, I was honored to be able to find the best possible science facilities for our school. We looked at other international schools and saw some good designs but nothing outstanding and we wanted the best for our students. S+B stood out for us as people that understand what schools need and mix the best of practicality and aesthetic appeal so their designs are the exception in both look and usage. We were impressed with Liam and his communication and clarity of thought which helped us design a flexible solution for a starting school. The flexibility was vital as the COVID situation we could not get the S+B fitters to Bangkok and had to use local workmen who were supported by S+B remotely. We have persevered and the result is four beautiful labs and an amazing prep room which the students love. Thank you to Liam and the team for the support and hard work.”
