The 20 Hectare site is being developed for the new school which will initially provide places for 500 boarding students chosen from all parts of Russia for their academic potential. The senior staff have been recruited from leading educational institutions in Russia, the UK, the USA and Singapore. Each student will have their own individual Education Plan based on the International Baccalaureate.
S+B has secured the contract to supply and install the science furniture for 13 laboratories and a science resource area in collaboration with Edulab UK and The Concept who are our newly appointed agent/distributors for the region and who are based in Moscow. The Concept are interior fit-out specialists with a track record in the design and fit-out of educational interiors.
S+B worked closely with The Concept and school staff in developing the various design options. The school eventually opted for the Xenium Service Tower and Moveable Table design with the Intercon connection system that is unique to S+B, Corian work surfaces and sinks.

This laboratory furniture system has been specifically designed to facilitate flexibility and easy rearrangement of the learning environment. Lockable castors allow easy, noiseless rearrangement, stops damage to floors and when locked eliminates risk to students caused by accidental movement during class.
