Case Study

Global Pharmaceutical Company

Working in collaboration with BES, the experts in the design and construction who develop bespoke solutions for the pharmaceutical, life science, and healthcare sectors, S+B manufactured and installed laboratory furniture to a total of 9 rooms.

The Specification was based on our premium Exemplaire C Frame System, a heavy-duty system that has a functional life span of more than 25 years but offers an attractive contemporary styling. The system facilitates the addition of suspended units that can traverse the full bench length free of obstruction and interruption and this flexibility can transform the space within minutes.

The worktops fitted on top of the support frame and occasionally pedestal units consisted of Trespa TopLab Plus, an ideal choice for the Pharmaceutical environments where hygiene, avoidance of contamination & high resistance to a large number of aggressive chemicals are required. Trespa was also used on door and drawer fronts to those rooms, where, due to its properties was a more suitable choice. Additional storage solutions, such as wall and tall units were also provided.

The chosen palette of light colours, combined with both natural light and clever lighting make the laboratories feel airy and spacious, while elements such as stainless steel sinks, chrome finish taps and door handle give a contemporary and smart feeling to the working spaces.

The black edge on the Trespa worktops, the S+B support legs and window frames are not only a subtle choice but they create a contouring effect, drawing attention to them.

The same attention to detail, to both functionality and modern design, can be seen on the Safety Stations with the aluminium corner profiles.
