Singapore International School Hong Kong

Founded in 1991, Singapore International School Hong Kong (SISHK) is widely regarded as one of the premier institutions for families in Hong Kong seeking a high-quality, internationally minded education rooted in an Asian foundation. The school offers a rigorous Singapore-based curriculum that has been thoughtfully adapted to fit the international context.

The school excels in STEM education, particularly in Science and Mathematics, while also promoting bilingualism and holistic student development, consistently producing well-rounded graduates with strong academic and leadership skills.

S+B UK collaborated closely with SISHK to realise their vision of a fully bespoke, amphitheatre-style Physics – Makerspace laboratory. Designed to enhance student engagement, this layout ensures every student has clear visibility and close proximity to the teacher, encouraging active participation.

The laboratory features generous worktop space for hands-on experiments, supporting the school’s emphasis on inquiry-based learning.

As a result of meticulous planning and close collaboration with the school’s Senior Campus Planning and Development Manager, the modern laboratory reflects the school’s forward-thinking approach to STEM education.

Installed by S+B’s local agent, Tam Minh, the bespoke furniture delivers on both function and aesthetics, creating a dynamic learning environment that inspires students.
