Experience and expertise
S+B has been manufacturing and installing laboratory furniture and fume cupboards for more than 40 years. We welcome visits to our Manchester showroom and can arrange visits to third-party sites where we have acted as consultants in the past.
Our in-house engineers frequently work with our clients’ project team to optimise installation and ensure effective operation of fume cupboards in the future, minimising cross-drafts and advising on the correct operational procedures for best performance.

UK’s first SEFA member
In 2017, S+B was accepted as a member of SEFA, the Scientific Equipment and Furniture Association. We were the first laboratory furniture and fume cupboard supply and installation specialist in the UK to gain this prestigious accreditation.
This also allows us to work directly as design consultants on major R&D laboratory installations where SEFA membership is a prerequisite.
