King’s College School,The Bahamas, part of the global network of premium schools, Inspired Education, is uniquely developed to offer a world-class education on the beautiful island of The Bahamas. In September 2023, the school unveiled its new 10-acre campus, which included two state of the art science labs and a preparation room. These modern school science labs, equipped with S+B’s Wing benching system, have been uniquely developed to cater to the school’s specific needs. The customisable benches, tailored to suit the lab sizes and shapes, offer students a dynamic space for experiments and collaboration with their classmates.
To enhance the hands-on learning experience, S+B’s bespoke teacher desks, strategically positioned in both practical and theory areas, are equipped with docking stations. These docking stations allow for quick and easy connection to Mobiline fume cupboard services, facilitating a learning experience that encourages experimentation and exploration.
The Pedestal system, with its fixed cupboards, chemical resistant worktops and integrated sink and electrical and gas services, transforms the science preparation room into a perfectly organised space, where equipment can be stored away while not in use, keeping the labs clutter free.
